Eural’s autumn calendar will feature four major international trade shows, each addressing different audiences, markets and applications, and each providing an opportunity to interact with the industry and showcase solutions that are helping shape the evolution of aluminium across key industrial fields.
The season kicks off with IMTS in Chicago (14–19 September), one of the world’s leading events for manufacturing technology. On the same days, from 15 to 19 September, Eural will make its debut at AMB in Stuttgart, a key event for the machining industry. Here, the spotlight will be on LEAD FREE alloys, increasingly under the spotlight in a market looking for materials that combine high productivity, reliability and sustainability. Particular attention will be given to 2033 by Eural, the lead-free alloy developed to deliver the same outstanding machinability as the long-established 2011 and 2007 alloys, while overcoming their regulatory limitations.
From 6 to 8 October, Eural will then head to Aluminium 2026 in Düsseldorf, in response to a growing demand for aluminium as a technical alternative to traditional metals such as brass and steel. For Eural, the event will provide the ideal stage to showcase the achievements of its Research & Development division, whose work focuses on developing highly machinable LEAD FREE alloys. This metallurgical expertise complements aluminium’s inherent properties as a lightweight, high-performance material, while continuing to broaden its versatility across an ever-growing range of applications.
The final event on Eural’s autumn calendar will be Cibus Tec, taking place in Parma from 27 to 30 October, where the company will present one of the latest developments involving 6026LF. Historically used across the automotive, automation, pneumatic, electrical, electronics and general engineering sectors, the alloy has undergone an extensive programme of laboratory testing to assess its suitability for applications involving direct food contact. In addition, its extremely low lead content (Pb ≤ 0.05%) – half the permitted limit – makes 6026LF compliant with the latest European regulations, including REACH and RoHS.
